Suraksha-Swaraksha has organised a discussion on the National Education Policy at Rotary Hall on Sunday. Former vice-chancellors, professors, heads of various educational institutions, and educationists are expected to take part in the programme. Dr. K. Chidananda Gowda, former V-C of Kuvempu University, will inaugurate the programme. Prof. Anirudh B. Deshpande, former member, Planning Board, UGC and former executive member of NAAC, will be the chief guest.
LEGAL AWARENESS CAMP
The Hotel Owners’ Association in association with the District Legal Services Authority has organised a legal awareness camp and an interaction programme with legal experts on the premises of the association at Krishnarajapuram here at 10.30 a.m. on April 12. Dinesh Hegde, member secretary, district legal services authority, will inaugurate the camp. M.R. Ravi, additional regional commissioner, Mysuru division, will be the chief guest.
