Introduction to Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Exam

An Entrance Examination that was conducted state wise for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical courses in Andhra Pradesh state is called as the AP EAMCET. This exam is conducted for getting seats for undergraduate programmes in various Government and Private Institutions of Andhra Pradesh. This entrance exam was conducted yearly once. Usually, this exam was conducted in the month of April.

The notification for the current year entrance exam is released by the Andhra Pradesh state government. The AP EAMCET exam and the activities related to this exam are organised and carried out by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada for the current year. After the exam was conducted the result was issued and the Counselling schedule also released.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the AP EAMCET entrance exam are given below.

Educational Qualification for AP EAMCET

The applying candidates must have been passed in the 12^th standard examination with subjects such as Mathematics and Physics as major subjects in association with Chemistry, Biotechnology and Biology as optional subjects.

Also the candidates those who passed or attended for the final year Diploma in Engineering courses can apply for this entrance examination.

Marks Criteria for AP EAMCET

The applying candidate must have 45% of marks in the subjects that are taken in 12^th standard.

If the candidate belongs to the reserved category, then they should possess 40% marks in the 12^th standard subjects.

Age Criteria for AP EAMCET

• The age limits for the candidates those who are going to apply for the AP EAMCET entrance examination is mentioned here.

• The applying candidates must be at least 17 years old as on 31^st December of the year on which they are applying for the exam.

• Initially, the candidates have to visit the official website of the AP EAMCET. The official website was mentioned above.

• After that, the candidates have to select “AP EAMCET Application Online” from the menu.

• You will be directed to a new page that contains the application form for the EAMCET exam.

• Fill in all the necessary details that were asked in the form such as name, date of birth etc.

• Next upload your scanned photo and signature in the mentioned format.

• Finally click on the submit button.

• Next make payment for the examination through the desired format.

Take a print out of your application form for future use.
