In a major breakthrough, the Bengaluru police arrested 3 drug peddlers and recovered 6.6 kgs of ganja from them near an educational cluster in the city on Sunday.
According to the police, Venkatesh, Santhosh and Hemanth were found selling ganja to students near the PES Institute of Technology on the Outer Ring Road in Hosakerihalli. All the three accused were produced before a local court, which remanded them into judicial custody.
The police said that the trio procured ganja from a local network and sold the stock to students from different colleges in south Bengaluru. The police recovered mobile phones and undisclosed sum of cash from the accused.
