Reportedly for admission to MBBS courses candidates from across the country will have to appear for the NEET and will have to get a minimum of 50 percentile. Students of Maharashtra state have challenged the decision of the central government and the Medical Council of India (MCI) to conduct a single entrance examination, they have also challenged the NEET syllabus.
As claimed by students in their petition, syllabus prescribed for the NEET is “vastly different” from the syllabus of the state board. They also point out that students also have to study for the board examinations.
