Meizu Pro 6 with a 6GB of RAM: Everything we think we know so far
It seems smartphone fight is just going to get fiercer in the Chinese market as Meizu has sent out media invites for an upcoming event on April 13 in Beijing. The company is expected to launch the much-rumored Pro 6 flagship smartphone, which is making headlines for quite some time now and is believed to feature 6GB of RAM paired with MediaTek’s Helio X25 chipset.

Some recent leaks showcased the smartphone curved edges and the first of its kind camera flash with ring of small LED bulbs circling the laser autofocus camera sensor. This might give the smartphone enhanced ability to take pictures in low-light conditions.

As per the information we have on the specifications of the smartphone, the Pro 6 will flaunt a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and will be powered by a MediaTek’s latest Helio X25 chipset, which is a 10-core CPU.

As noted, Meizu is the second smartphone maker to launch a handset with 6GB RAM. Vivo is already selling its XPlay 5 Elite smartphone with the equal amount of RAM. As far as imaging goes, Meizu Pro 6 is also expected to feature a 21MP rear camera and 5 or 8MP front camera. The phone will be powered by at least 3,500mAh capacity.

The smartphone is also believed to integrate a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button up front. So far there is no word on the India launch of Meizu Pro 6 or the India price.
