Cyberabad police, in an official release issued here, said Rachakonda Srinivas Rao, sub-registrar of Kukatpally, Trinity Infra Ventures directors PS Parthasarathi and PVS Sharma were arrested.
On Thursday, according to police, Medchal district registrar N Saidi Reddy lodged a complaint at the Kukatpally police station stating that Trinity Infra Ventures, represented by Parthasarathi, executed four registration deeds in favour of Sharma, who also happens to be director of Suvishal Power, with respect to land in survey numbers 20, 28, 100 and 101 of Miyapur village of Serilingampally mandal to an extent of 693 acres and 04 guntas. Though the land in these survey numbers belong to the government, the registration of the land was done by Srinivas Rao.
“The registration was done by violating provisions of the sections 22-A and 82 of the Registration Act-1908, thereby, caused loss of revenue of Rs 587 crores,” police said.
